Behind the Barn Doors
The Museum showcases the big red barn that anchors its six acre campus. The spotlight will be on the importance of keeping historic crafts and trades alive as well as the workshops and hands-on activities the museum offers year-round.

Blues After School
Blues After School is a music education program that provides free instrument and Blues band instruction for middle school aged students and up.

Café Français
Speakers of any French dialect and any skill level are welcome to come participate in a monthly discussion and practice their French speaking skills.

Enrichment Monday (POSTPONED)
Current and prospective volunteers, staffers, and interested community members are invited to come experience a new skill or activity.

Historical Happy Hour
Come to the museum to explore exhibits and enjoy changing monthly entertainment such as trivia, live music, or lectures. The refreshments are on you and the history is on us!

Le Jam
All Cajun musicians, dancers and fans are welcome to this free monthly event. Come by just to listen, cut a rug, or even play along!

This program features guest lecturers including scholars, historians, artists and book authors to name a few who speak on topics that accompany permanent and changing exhibits.
